CONSTRUCTION

Standard rack consists of four vertical pillars of 3 meters in height with as many as six horizontal shelf members designed to fit on vertical pillars at about every 305 mm spacing. (this can easily be adjusted due to the modular construction). Vertical pillars have a clear opening of about 2.28 meters with a depth of 750 mm to accommodate ten standard pallets per module. Vertical pillars and Horizontal shelves are made out of Rolled Steel Channels (RSC) of 78mm x 38mm with cross bracing between the vertical pillars made out of Rolled Steel Angle (RSA) of 38mm x 38mm. The horizontal shelf members have a further provision of secure fit with the help of locking clamp plates. The base plate of the vertical pillars are made out of 150x150mm plate of 10mm thickness with two diagonally drilled holes for anchoring in the floor of warehouse. Besides above these sizes, Rapi-Rack can be customized for a height of upto 6 Meters to accept 16 pallets per module.
